You will need to combine propranolol with a new lifestyle and exercise regularly for best effects. Take propranolol with a full glass of water. Do not skip doses or stop taking propranolol without first talking to your doctor. Stopping suddenly may make your condition worse. Your health care provider may need to be checking your blood regularly for you to benefit from your treatment as much as possible, so make sure you show up for regular appointments. Take propranolol at the same time every day. In case you happened to miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless you have to take the next one soon - in that case skip the dose missed. If you have liver or kidney disease, depression, thyroid disorder, low blood pressure, bronchitis, diabetes, or congestive heart failure your dose may require an adjustment.
